Low Sweeping Branches

The group formed in September 2009 when Sarah met Bryan and Bill for the first time. The two had been playing together for years in projects like current rock phenomenon “Those Wolves Actually Happened”, Sarah was a new addition to the family. Right away their styles meshed together and their expressions ran wild through bowings, pizzicatos, and vocal lines. It was then that they knew that a life long musical friendship was budding.

The string trio’s mission is to stretch the boundaries of their own musicianship by adapting songs that they love to their arrangement, but also about writing original compositions as well.

“For the originals… Bill has brought forward most of the initial material and guitar parts and Bryan and I have added our input on structure and flavor, and we’ve come up with some really unique compositions this way.” - Violinist Sarah Fylak.

The group is currently mixing 3 original tracks that recorded at the Fenway Center last month. Stay tuned for some sounds and shows!!
