M.C. Aylward (Commodore MC) is a Boston based rapper, drummer and composer who focuses mainly on the idea of entropy in his music. Entropy is defined as a doctrine of inevitable social decline and degeneration. Many of his works illustrate this concept by starting with a lush theme and slowly hastening its destruction using rhythm and tonality. This idea is present in his classical compositions as well as his electronic music.
M.C. Aylward is also the frontman of Mammox and the drummer for Wondrous Thunder.
