Nate Belasco is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and sound designer. As a post-modern musical sponge, he produces music in wildly variant frameworks, a product of the anti-production of the collective psychosis. His ideals for sonic transference are extracted from an aggregate of belligerent entities. Longitudinal waves of inspiration drive his compositional machinery, resulting in formative incidents and emergent structures.
As a musician and producer he wears many hats. He commands keyboards and electronics in Mammox, Skyvan, and Holy Rattesnakes. He plays guitar and writes meta-folk songs. He also dabbles in drums and percussion. As a chameleon producer he is an arbiter of fugitive rhythms, samples, and synthesizers, constructing tribe-wave doomstep and fuzz-house under the guises of Tactical Lisp, USB DILDO, and Warriorz of Virtue, while also producing progressive hip hop beats for Mammox and Doc Lobotomy. He also releases electroacoustic abstractions under the name Errands. Always an iconoclast, Nate is an aspiring scholar of transient focus.
Nate has worked as a record store clerk and video game sound designer. He also co-produced the music for the popular iPhone game Cube Runner. He recently graduated in music technology and composition at Northeastern University. Since returning from a two month cross-country tour with Mammox, he has been busy working on a number of projects, including remixes for various musician friends, post audio work on an indie film Babysnatchers, and a new singer-songwriter album.
